The restructuring of the energy system poses immense challenges for the economy, state institutions and civil society, which have been further exacerbated by the current geopolitical situation. Just as serious as the uncertainty surrounding the future development of energy prices is the need to maintain security of supply, particularly in the manufacturing industry. In addition to the aspect of economically efficient production, it is also important to make the energy supply resilient.

After an overview presentation on resilient energy supply, we welcomed Minister of State Hubert Aiwanger (Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy) for a keynote speech on Bavaria's locational advantage. There were also other interesting presentations on the framework conditions and challenges of resilient energy supply, as well as best-practice examples of planning and municipal and industrial implementation.
