Ukrainian Students and Applicants

The Russian regime’s war against Ukraine, waged with relentless ferocity, fills us with horror and bewilderment. As a university family, not only are our thoughts with the affected people, but we also try to help and support them as much as we can.

The International Office has set up an e-mail address for inquiries from Ukrainian refugees about studying at OTH Regensburg: ukraine(at)oth-regensburg.de. Advice and information are also available in Ukrainian.

  • There is the possibility for Ukrainian students to enroll as international exchange students. The prerequisite for this is a current or earlier enrolment at a Ukrainian university in a study degree programme which is also offered at the OTH Regensburg. You cannot obtain a degree in this way. The offer is rather intended as a bridging option:

    • you can attend German language courses (from A1 to C1)
    • you can virtually do your first study year at a Ukrainian university in parallel, which is required for direct university entrance to a German university
    • you can attend courses offered in English in your degree programme and acquire ECTS
