International degree-seeking students can apply for the financial aid if all of the following criteria are met:

•     You are studying at least in the 3rd semester of a bachelor degree programme or the 2nd semester of a master degree programme.
•     You are enrolled at OTH Regensburg during the funding period.
•     You have academic achievements that demonstrate progress in your studies.
•     You do not receive any other scholarships during the funding period (regardless of the type and amount of scholarship payments).
•     You are at your place of study during the funding period. 
•     You do not have German citizenship.
•     You have to overcome particular challenges in your studies (e.g. refugees, persons with disabilities, persons with chronic illnesses, persons with special care needs for children (0–12 years) or family members in need of care).

The funding period is between 1 and 6 months. The funding amount is up to EUR 500 per month.

The duration and amount of funding will only be determined after the applications have been reviewed. The duration and amount of the scholarship depend on the funds available and, based on experience, are usually well below the maximum amounts.

Important: Payment of the full scholarship amount is therefore unlikely and not guaranteed.

The current application deadline for the financial aid is 22 October 2025, 11:59 p.m.

Applications must be submitted via the Mobility-Online tool. To do so, you will need to create your own user account. Please follow the steps in the instructions carefully.

Only after registering you will receive an email with a link to Mobility-Online, where you can complete your application and upload the required documents. (You can save your progress.)

Applications submitted outside of Mobility-Online (e.g. by email) will not be considered.
