Financing

  • With Erasmus+, students can spend time abroad in Europe at ERASMUS partner universities during each phase of their studies. The stays are financially supported in all EU member states as well as in Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey.

It is possible to participate in study abroad programmes within Europe at most of the partner universities of the OTH Regensburg. Financial support includes full or partial waiver of tuition fees at the host university as well as additional financial aid which is paid out in two instalments. The amount of the Erasmus scholarship depends on the respective country.

The application for Erasmus is organised by the International Office of the OTH Regensburg. Here you can find a leaflet with detailed explanations of the procedure as well as application forms.

  • PROMOS (Programme for Increasing the Mobility of German Students) provides funding for study and practical stays abroad as well as for final theses for students of the OTH Regensburg. For theoretical semesters, this mainly concerns stays abroad at partner universities outside Europe. The amount of funding paid out at one time can vary, depending on the financing available. The application for PROMOS funding must be submitted via Mobility Online. To obtain the registration link to this platform, please contact the responsible contact person at the International Office of the OTH Regensburg.
