Then a scholarship might be just the thing for you!

First things first:

Inform yourself early: You have the most scholarship opportunities in the first stage of your studies (Bachelor: 1st to 3rd semester; Master: Before starting or 1st semester).
Apply on time: Keep an eye on the individual application deadlines; each foundation has its own deadlines and application requirements.
Submit everything: Make sure that your application documents are complete.

Deutschlandstipendium

The Deutschlandstipendium is a national scholarship program of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. It supports talented and high-achieving students at OTH Regensburg with a one-year scholarship. Half of the scholarship is paid for by private sponsors, companies and foundations, while the other half is paid for by the federal government.

Oskar-Karl-Forster-Scholarship

The Oskar Karl Forster Scholarship fund supports talented and destitute students (e.g. BAföG recipients) upon application. One-off grants of at least 100 to max. 500 euros are paid out to purchase books or other learning materials.

Travel allowances for students

Thanks to a generous donation from the Josef Stanglmeier Foundation, the Association of Freunde der OTH Regensburg e.V. can award travel grants of up to €500 for study-related stays abroad. The target group is students in need who are enrolled in a full-time degree program at OTH Regensburg.
