Studies and organisational matters

So that everything runs smoothly

What do I need to qualify for the course? When do lectures take place? Is any funding available? Studying while working - how does it work? You can find all the answers here - so that everything runs smoothly.

  • The courses take place during the week on a maximum of three days (Tuesday - Thursday) in the evening in virtual form from 18.00 pm to 21.00 pm, regardless of location. On about ten Saturdays during the semester, students come to OTH Regensburg in presence from 08.15 am to 15.30 pm. In addition, from the second semester onwards, there is a block week (Monday - Saturday) from 08.30 am to 16.15 pm, but the Saturday dates are reduced.

By combining online and face-to-face teaching, you can take advantage of all the advantages of both worlds: Learn from the comfort of your own home and still be in personal exchange and contact. The dates of the block week are fixed well in advance. This allows you to coordinate time expenditures with your family and your workplace at an early stage.

  • The degree programme is accredited and bears the seal of the Accreditation Council.

  • The prerequisite for enrollment in the part-time Bachelor of Business Administration is completed (commercial) vocational training and then three years of (commercial) professional experience. If you have additional further training (e.g. certified "Fachwirt" or "Wirtschaftswirt"), it is possible to shorten the duration of your studies (see "structure and modules"). With entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (Fachabitur) or general university entrance qualification (Abitur), you can start studying straight after your training.
