Participants gained an insight into a wide range of current research and technology topics. The five pitches highlighted the diversity and expertise of research at OTH Regensburg and beyond. Among the topics presented were the Sensor Technology Application Centre, laser material processing and additive manufacturing, industrial computed tomography, patent and legal consultancy in mechanical engineering, and soil-binder mixtures from the field of geotechnical engineering. As diverse as the topics were, they all shared a common goal: to drive forward innovation in the fields of materials and production.

Anyone wishing to develop an exciting research topic or find new collaboration partners is welcome to register for one of the upcoming editions of Pitch & Snack at orca@oth-regensburg.de.

The next event is scheduled for 10 September 2026 and will focus on the research theme ‘Sustainable Living Spaces’.
