What is your funded project?
EASY.CRA supports small and medium-sized enterprises in implementing the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) in a way that is easy to understand and practical. The project is developing a user-friendly self-assessment tool that guides companies step by step through the CRA requirements, identifies affected products and provides specific recommendations for action. EASY.CRA also outlines the obligations arising from the classification of your product or your role.
What excites you about the project?
What is particularly inspiring is the early, direct dialogue with the affected companies. This means they can benefit from the content we’ve developed even during the implementation phase, and we can incorporate their feedback directly into the project. Our knowledge-sharing formats – webinars, workshops, the tool itself and an AI-powered assistant – help to build knowledge and boost confidence in dealing with digital products.
How can insights from the project be applied in practice?
The project’s focus is on practical application. A major component consists of the knowledge-transfer formats with users throughout the project’s duration. The self-check tool can be tested by interested companies whilst it is still under development, ensuring that it is precisely tailored to the target groups by the end. In addition to the tool, the project focuses on imparting knowledge about IT security and the CRA in practice.
