ARTEMIS at the Summer Semester Info Day

On 26 March, the Summer Semester Info Day took place at OTH Regensburg. The European University Alliance ARTEMIS was present with an information stand, supported by ARTEMIS Team and the three Student Ambassadors.

The Info Day made one thing clear: ARTEMIS resonates with students. Many visitors stopped by the stand to learn about the alliance, its goals, and the partner institutions involved. A prize wheel with attractive giveaways drew in plenty of spontaneous visitors and created a lively atmosphere throughout the day. Alongside personal conversations, a range of interactive activities kept things engaging: a quiz about the Greek goddess Artemis, a partner city matching activity, and a survey to capture students’ interests and expectations.

The strong turnout once again underlined the relevance of international study opportunities and European collaboration.

First Formats Already Underway

ARTEMIS is actively working to embed international experiences into everyday student life through integrated formats spanning mobility, teaching, and research.

Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) are already taking place this semester, bringing together students and staff from at least three ARTEMIS partner countries for 5–30 days – combining in-person and online phases.

The following formats are currently in development:

  • Sandwich Programmes – an optional study pathway with fixed stays at one or two ARTEMIS partner institutions, potentially including a practical placement
  • Internships – streamlined access to placement opportunities at partner institutions across the alliance network
  • Theses and Research Stays – opportunities to collaborate across nearly all subject areas at the partner institutions
  • International Campus Life – a more diverse and connected campus experience through closer ties between the eight ARTEMIS partner institutions across Europe

The ARTEMIS programme is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing degree programmes, opening up new pathways for students to gain international experience and enrich their studies through exchange and collaboration.
