Lerninhalte
Zum Einsatz kommen u. a.
Course Content – English
What is the course “Cobots – Interdisciplinary Approaches for Crafts, Production and Society” about?
The course provides a practical introduction to how modern robotic systems can be programmed and integrated into new application domains. Students from all faculties work in interdisciplinary teams on topics from construction, crafts, production, mobility, healthcare or smart cities – ranging from human factors and process analysis to robotics, sensing, system integration and validation.
Platforms include, among others, the Deep Robotics quadruped, Unitree G1 humanoid, collaborative robots, Xsens Motion Capture and MANUS Sensor Gloves. The technical scope ranges from simple visual programming to ROS/ROS2, sensor integration, teleoperation and AI-enabled robotic applications.
A key element is rapid prototyping in the OTH Regensburg Building Lab. Using 3D printing and the mechatronics workshop, students develop their own robot end-effectors, peripheral components, HMI and interaction interfaces, extending existing robotic platforms for new applications.
Each semester combines theoretical foundations, robot programming tutorials and an integrated practical project provided and accompanied by an industry partner. The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students and can also be completed in English.
