Overview of the funded projects

OTH teaching innovation professorship

Offering our students high quality and innovative courses is the focus of OTH Regensburg. OTH Regensburg would like to promote teaching research and teaching innovation, i.e. the testing and scientific support of new didactic concepts, and at the same time offer professors an opportunity for personal development. The OTH teaching innovation professorship involves a considerable amount of long-term relief (one third of the teaching load over 3 years). There are very high quality standards for teaching research/teaching innovation. The results should also be visible after the end of the teaching innovation professorship and thus lead to a sustainable improvement in teaching quality. The individual projects take place in close cooperation with the Central service for Teaching and Learning.

Overview of the funded projects

Promotion of teaching innovation

Within the framework of teaching innovation funding, flexible relief is granted for plans and projects that promise short-term quality improvements or further developments in teaching (learning and teaching, examination and evaluation formats) and can be implemented with a manageable amount of time.

Overview of the funded projects

Virtual University Bavaria (vhb)

Do you have a course format that you would like to offer as an online course - throughout Bavaria and with professional support? Then funding from the Virtual University of Bavaria (vhb) is just the thing for you. Since October 2024, OTH Regensburg has been part of the pilot project Instructional Designer - vhb, which is initially being funded by the Virtual University of Bavaria for two years. The aim is to provide teaching staff at OTH with individual advice on digital teaching concepts in the cross-university context of the vhb.

If you would like to find out more about the vhb and its various online formats in advance, use our vhb info portal on ELO or make an appointment for a consultation right away.
