The "ICT R&D User Centre" cluster

• supports its members in acquiring third-party funding, in particular when submitting applications
• coordinates joint activities for future innovative communication technologies in the automotive and industrial sectors as well as in the areas of IT security, mobile applications and automation technology
• Actively presents itself to the outside world as a cross-location unit
• conducts specialised public relations work with the slogan "Expertise at the East Bavarian University of Applied Sciences"
• links its R&D activities closely with teaching and incorporates the results into courses

• Smart Grid (intelligent power grids, power management, energy adapters)
