In bright sunshine, the group explored the historic alleyways of the UNESCO World Heritage city. The tour focussed on life in the Middle Ages and was enriched by impressive drama interludes that vividly recreated important scenes from the city's history. The varied programme was met with great enthusiasm by all participants.
After the tour, the group ended the evening with a meal together in a relaxed atmosphere. This provided an opportunity for personal dialogue between scholarship holders and sponsors - an important aspect of the Deutschlandstipendium, which focuses not only on financial but also on non-material support.
The event was a complete success and showed once again how valuable shared experiences are for cohesion and dialogue within the framework of the Deutschlandstipendium.
