The AI Transfer Plus programme run by the Bavarian State Ministry of Digital Affairs provides targeted support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in introducing artificial intelligence. With a holistic approach that encompasses knowledge building, strategy development, the practical implementation of an AI use case and networking with other companies, the programme offers an ideal foundation for turning companies into competent AI users within just nine months.
A particular highlight is the local support provided to participating companies by AI regional centres based at universities throughout Bavaria. As the first AI regional centre, OTH Regensburg has been providing practical and personalised on-site support since 2021.
