Ten young professionals met after work on May 9, 2025 to look back on their career to date and make plans for the future together with business coach Rebecca Brendle-Behnisch. The focus was on personal strengths, challenges in everyday working life and the question of job satisfaction.
Trainer Rebecca Brendle-Behnisch completed her Master's degree in Digital Entrepreneurship at OTH Regensburg in 2022. She herself has already taken stock of her career path several times - from deciding on a dual study program to taking up a Master's degree and becoming self-employed. Today, she works as a freelance business coach and start-up coach.
After a brief round of introductions in which the participants shared professional “aha moments”, Brendle-Behnisch sent the alumni on a journey back in time. The participants then reflected on their current professional situation based on various aspects such as personal responsibility, teamwork, work-life balance, a sense of achievement, responsibility and appreciation. The initial individual areas of action were derived from the exchange between the participants. Finally, the look into the future offered the opportunity to concretize plans in small groups.
“There are times when you have to endure uncertainty.” - this message from the trainer stayed in the minds of many. Brendle-Behnisch encouraged the young professionals to see shaping their own careers as a process that can take months and never has to be completely finished. A good, stable network is always valuable.
The alumni not only took away new food for thought, but also valuable contacts thanks to a very open exchange of ideas, which was continued over dinner at the Unikat restaurant.
