This is a three-day seminar in which students get to know Sudan, its political actors, social conflicts and UN structures and working methods better. The focus is on analysing the humanitarian crisis in the country. To this end, students from OTH Regensburg, the University of Regensburg and international students work together as a team.
The aim of the exercise is to teach students the ability to make appropriate decisions in humanitarian crisis situations, to think and act in a solution-orientated manner and to work effectively in a multinational team. Communication during the exercise is exclusively in English.
Participants will be accompanied by national and international experts who will provide relevant insights into their fields of work and share their experiences during the exercise. OTH Regensburg has been able to acquire numerous renowned experts whose extensive practical experience will make an important contribution.
