What is a Profile
Windows Default: Local
Under Windows different settings and program data is saved within the UserProfile. A logged in user can find his profile under
C:\USERS\<username>
CIP-Pool: Local
Auf den CIP-Pool-Rechnern werden seit dem WiSe 2017/2018 keine servergespeicherten Profile mehr verwendet, d.h. im Allgemeinen gehen Dateien und Programmeinstellungen beim Abmelden verloren. Einzelne Einstellungen werden durch User Experience Virtualization (UE-V) zentral abgelegt, dies muss jedoch durch das RZ eigens konfiguriert werden.
