Ukraine: Aid for Students and Their Families

Інформація українською мовою

The Russian regime’s war against Ukraine, waged with relentless ferocity, fills us with horror and bewilderment. The human suffering, the immeasurable destruction of the country and the resulting streams of refugees show the senselessness and tragedy of war. We, as a university family, declare our solidarity with the people from Ukraine, as well as with all victims and opponents of the war, regardless of their nationality.

As a university family, not only are our thoughts with the affected people, but we also try to help and support them as much as we can. This applies not only to our employees and students from Ukraine who are members of our university, but also to their families and to the people coming to us for help, including many students and researchers.

Help and Advice for Refugees from Ukraine

The International Office has set up an e-mail address for inquiries from refugees who come from Ukraine and are studying at OTH Regensburg: ukraine(at)oth-regensburg.de. Advice and information are also available in Ukrainian.

At present, meetings on this topic are taking place at short intervals within OTH Regensburg. In addition to the intensive exchange with the University of Regensburg, the city of Regensburg and the arrival centre for refugees in Regensburg as well as Campus Asyl, Space-Eye, and other aid organizations, we are trying to establish contact with the students and teachers at our partner universities in Odessa and Kharkiv.
