Full-time international students - Bachelor
Applying for a Bachelor course
The documentary evidence of foreign formal qualifications (certificates, diplomas) must first be recognised for admission to a study programme at OTH Regensburg University of Applied Sciences. At the same time a certificate confirming the average grade must also be applied for – this is then used as a basis for allocating university places.
OTH Regensburg conducts the admission of applicants with foreign university entrance qualifications jointly together with UNI ASSIST. UNI ASSIST will validate all your certificates and transcripts of your educational records.
Please contact UNI ASSIST as soon as possible.
Please use the preliminary review documentation (abbr. VPD):
VPD step by step:
You will find information about how your certificates will be evaluated in the information system on the recognition of international educational achievements at www.anabin.kmk.org
When your certificates have been checked and assessed you will be sent a report card validation form. If this form directly qualifies you for a study programme you can use it to apply for a place at OTH Regensburg without any further formalities.
Assessment procedure / Studienkolleg:
If you are not directly qualified for a place at OTH Regensburg you will need to sit an assessment examination before you can apply for a course. In the Free State of Bavaria this examination is organised by the Studienkolleg Coburg. Entrance examinations in German and Mathematics are held in January and July for admission to the Studienkolleg. Over a period of two semesters (1 year) the Studienkolleg prepares course applicants for the assessment examination which will qualify you for a place to study at OTH Regensburg. The assessment examination can also be taken without any preparatory semesters. You should apply to one of the Studienkollegs directly:
