Social Work – Social Services at Schools (Bachelor)

Issues affecting the education and development of young people at schools are becoming increasingly important.

Unequal opportunities due to various forms of disenfranchisement, exclusion, psychic, social or physical impairments call for appropriate response concepts and a judicious choice of treatment strategies.

As a social pedagogue working within a school environment, you will develop these concepts and strategies and help to implement them. To achieve this you will need to work closely with the school, parents/guardians and with youth support agencies, and our BA in Social Work – Social Services at Schools is an excellent medium for learning this expertise.

You will acquire sound theoretical knowledge and assimilate comprehensive method competences. You will be able to use our wide-ranging courses to develop your social and communications skills and abilities.

Finally, the degree programme will prepare you to perform your many different tasks under ‘field’ conditions and constraints.
